I’m probably one of the few, but I really dislike ordering appetizers at restaurants because I always fill up before my meal arrives. Even at home, I make sure I don’t snack too close to dinner because I will spoil my appetite! Ugh…I feel like my mom!

Cooking the Panko Crusted Buffalo Cauliflower Bites in the air fryer ensures those Panko crumbs are at maximum crispiness without drying out the cauliflower.

This appetizer can still be made in your oven no problem. The Panko Crusted Buffalo Cauliflower Bites still turn out crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. It may just take a little bit longer to make than the air fryer.

Ingredients

  • 1 head of cauliflower
  • ¾ c Red Hot buffalo sauce 
  • ½ c Panko bread crumbs

Instructions

  • Wash and de-stem the cauliflower. Cut the head of cauliflower into desired bite-sized pieces.
  • In a medium bowl, toss cauliflower bites in buffalo sauce.
  • Once cauliflower bites are coated in buffalo sauce, toss in Panko bread crumbs until evenly covering each piece.
  • For the air fryer – spray fryer with cooking spray and cook at 370 for 10-12 minutes.
  • For the oven, bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 15-20 minutes.
